I'm thinking Bortuzzo and Goc just haven't been with the Blues long enough to completely lose their scoring touch! But I'm sure they are getting the "stink eye" in the locker room, so they'll learn not to score anymore!barcthespark wrote:Thanks you former Penguins!!!!!!!

Re: GDT: St Louis Blues @ Pittsburgh - 6:00pm
105Looks like we are back in this one. Agree Ott seemed to have got things rolling for once.
Re: GDT: St Louis Blues @ Pittsburgh - 6:00pm
107Pretty good play by Petro going one-on-one with the best player in the world.
Re: GDT: St Louis Blues @ Pittsburgh - 6:00pm
109One of these days Pierre McGuire and Darren Pang are going to have a cat fight over Petro.

111I feel like every time I've seen Berglund touch the puck tonight he's turned it over.
Re: GDT: St Louis Blues @ Pittsburgh - 6:00pm
112Apparently the Penguins have a 60 minute "Get Out of Jail Free" card tonight.
Re: GDT: St Louis Blues @ Pittsburgh - 6:00pm
113I have defended Bergy forever but he's regressed so bad I question if he's drinking heavily or something. The man is bad, bad, badAnton Chigurh wrote:I feel like every time I've seen Berglund touch the puck tonight he's turned it over.

114Allen has made several great saves, keeping the game tied. The Blues were also lucky when The Pens failed to score on a setup with an almost open net close in. It could easily be 3-2 Pens now if not for luck and good play by Allen.

115He's just looked so defeated for pretty much the last 2 months. Horrible body language on and off the ice. Lets hope all of those pent up goals show up in Round 1.Anton Chigurh wrote:I feel like every time I've seen Berglund touch the puck tonight he's turned it over.

117The only way Bergy will be here next year is if he wins the Conn Smythe award in a few months. He's as good as gone....ShakeyWalton wrote:I have defended Bergy forever but he's regressed so bad I question if he's drinking heavily or something. 118Yeah he does look like he's playing hungover. Slow reactions. Should we stage an intervention?ShakeyWalton wrote:I have defended Bergy forever but he's regressed so bad I question if he's drinking heavily or something. 119Honestly though, how many of us (me included) thought he was as good as gone after last season?Kariyadog wrote:Yeah he does look like he's playing hungover. Slow reactions. 120Oh absolutely. I never had unfair Mats Sundin expectations or anything like that with him; I was hoping for a 40 point Handzus-esque career and I would have been thrilled. I think that ship has long passed though. It may have even sunk, ha ha.NHLTIM wrote:The only way Bergy will be here next year is if he wins the Conn Smythe award in a few months. Re: GDT: St Louis Blues @ Pittsburgh - 6:00pm
122I'll take that make up call now. A 4-on-3 in OT would be sweet after the way we got jobbed in Detoilet.
Re: GDT: St Louis Blues @ Pittsburgh - 6:00pm
123Entertaining 3rd despite the lack of goals. Allen has been pretty sharp tonight, wish he would have had one of those goals though.
Re: GDT: St Louis Blues @ Pittsburgh - 6:00pm
125Crazy this is the best the pens have played in months. Of course it's against us.
