Also Monty spoke about Holloway and said he is still week to week and not even close. We should just expect that he is done for the year regardless how long or short it last for the rest of the team.

I didn't think this was a playoff team in the pre-season. I didn't think they were a playoff team after the coaching change. I didn't think their run after 4 Nations would amount to anything. I was shoveling dirt on their grave when Parayko got injured. I begged them to sell at the deadline.

Well fuck you, Dave, the playoffs are right on their tape. Go smoke those Mormons and bring on the big boys. LGB!

When the season started I predicted the Blues had a 50/50 shot to make the playoffs. So here we are.

I was telling Matt here at work earlier the Blues need to score 4 or more or Binner has to go 1 or none to win this game.

Given Utah's recent stretch of offense, even 4 isn't enough.

It's Game 7 in Boston all over again. Binner has to come up big tonight. Pretty much bottom line.

I love the games that give you a feeling in the pit in your stomach, not just because of the stakes, but because you know there are lots of reasons or ways it could go wrong. The more your rooting interest has to overcome, be it a difficult opponent or their own baggage, the sweeter the payoff. If you're even a casual golf fan you probably felt that way Sunday, which was one of the most fun sports viewing afternoons I've had in ages. Sports are the best when they make you feel something, even if that feeling is wanting to scream.

Here's another thing to watch/worry about. Hometown boy Clayton Keller has 34 points in 32 career games against the Blues, and 8 points in his last 3 games against the Blues. He's also hot right now, with 9 points in his last 5 games.

Keller and Schmaltz might as well be invisible… nobody ever hits them… they’re totally comfortable out there ringing up goal after goal against the Blues. When the game’s over their uniforms are as clean as before the game. It’s as if the Blues players would be embarrassed to hit them because they think that they’re 16 years old or something. The Blues players probably spent yesterday polishing up their golf clubs.

I want a regulation Duck win please.

I agree with both of these, wholeheartedly.

Play your absolute best, and win it going away. Come out blazing and keep up the pressure. Keep the game in their end. Go up early and don't let down at all. Get ahead by 3-4 goals and keep forechecking shooting and scoring. Build it up to 7-0. Never give them a chance.
Bring the win home! Rest during the break before the playoffs. No coasting during the game.
