Blues did look like shit in this game. Beginning to think Army should stop trying to patch this team and just suck it up and get a couple more big drafts.

I had big hopes the guys we previously drafted would be something in 3 years and everything would bridge with the current group we have but that isn't happening.

Holloway and Broberg was billiant on Armys part but everything else is a waste. Would rather play kids that want to make the NHL than play guys that don't belong in the NHL.

Aside from the very top picks, going through younger prospects is mostly a hit-or-miss numbers game. The hard part is how long do you wait before you cut someone loose to give another young player a look? Jake Walman turned into a pretty decent defenseman, Perunovich may do the same, who knows.

I'm guessing some of our group of young prospects end up borderline NHLers, some are traded to other teams to fill needs (DEFENSE!), and a couple will turn out to be solid top-9 guys, maybe a little better.
