Saad's time here should be done. Sundqvist needs to get a lot healthier and on a wing.Dave's a mess wrote: Wed Jan 15, 2025 8:57 am The Saad-Sundqvist-Texier line was benched for the last 14 minutes or so of the game. Saad and Sunny were on the ice for Calgary's tying goal, and that was apparently enough for Montgomery. It was the end of a long shift, but it didn't look like Saad had much interest in stopping Bahl from walking into a more dangerous scoring area.

27Sunny is a penalty waiting to happen. Maybe he’s a prick to the zebras or something, but opponents seem to get by with a lot of shit when it comes to him… on the other hand, if he looks at somebody wrong, he’s in the box feeling shame. In a game as close as last night’s game was, I was hoping he’d be sitting at the end.BluesSK wrote: Wed Jan 15, 2025 9:13 amSaad's time here should be done. 28Yeah, I think it was Bahl that tried to remove Sunny's head during one of the scrums, and that was fine, but if he taps another player's stick it's an instant slashing call.

29Sorry I missed this game live. Family obligations. But I was happy to see that they beat The Flames. I still have hope fort this season to not only watch positive development of the young players, but also sneak into the playoffs and give them that good experience, as well.

30Saad is a shell of his former self, and only has enough energy ton actually play on 1/3 of his shifts, in a third of his games. Dump him at the trade deadline, or just after this season, and make room for Dvorsky or Snuggeruud.BluesSK wrote: Wed Jan 15, 2025 9:13 amSaad's time here should be done. 31He got high-sticked early in the game during live play, and it seems that no-one saw it either.big d note wrote: Wed Jan 15, 2025 2:06 pm Yeah, I think it was Bahl that tried to remove Sunny's head during one of the scrums, and that was fine, but if he taps another player's stick it's an instant slashing call.
