Great 1st Period, especially against a very good team (Cup favourite) on the road. It's also noteworthy that they scored all 3 at the beginning or ending of the period (last 2 within 2 minutes of the buzzer). They came out skating hard early, and didn't let up. Building up a good lead early helps when you play at up at 5200 feet, against a team used to the thin air when you aren't. I hope The Blues don't tire out too much in The 3rd and can hang on for the win.

The Avs are getting good chances on this PK, But Binnington is making good saves, but most of all he is active in changing his position quickly to cut down the angles to take away shooting room. :dancingbanana: :dancingbanana: :dancingbanana: :dancingbanana: :dancingbanana:


And And Sundqvist and Buchnevich out on thje break, Sunny passes to driving Buchnevich for the shorty!!!! Blues lead 4-0!!!!

That elbow to Sundqvist's jaw with one second left will give The Blues a power play on the fresh ice, starting off The 3rd Period! Let's hope they can jam one in for a commanding lead. Great 2 periods by The Blues at a mile up against a Cup favourite. Who would have guessed this would happen in the midst of one of The Blues ' worst Power Play droughts???

That's a waste of 2 min sadly. So we'll have 18 min to end it.

We now have more sh goals (2) than pp goals (1)
Now now, the Canadian Government has apologized for Bryan Adams on SEVERAL occasions!
