Re: GDT: Blues at Colorado - 8:00 11/11
26I hope The Blues can give this kind of effort, and play this way during this season's playoffs.
Are they peaking too early?BluesSK wrote: Sat Nov 11, 2023 10:19 pm Blues are playing like the fat kid that gets bullied mercilessly in the schoolyard and finally snaps and goes apeshit.
Love how the Avs goal announcer still does his bit being on the wrong side of an 8-2 score.Robb_K wrote: Sat Nov 11, 2023 10:44 pm Who'd believe that The Blues would give up a goal with 27 seconds in a game in The Avalanche's arena, and not care, one bit?
Yeah, just tuned in for the final 3 minutes. WTF? I’ll have to watch the highlights here.
Very good question. I've followed every game in their entire history. I can't remember when it was, but it rings a bell with me that they've done it a couple times before this (but not recently).
You got your wish, DOUBLED! And with 2 Shorties added in for good measure!Ozzies09tc wrote: Sat Nov 11, 2023 6:47 pm Unsure what to think of this game.
We have scored a PP goal on the road (our only one) so...mayyyyybe? *Crosses fingers*
February 23,1986. And before I looked, I guessed it was Mark Hunter and Doug Gilmour and sure enough it was.
I know we won the Cup but the 85-86 Blues are still my favorite team. That was a lovable team with Demers and Caron running the show. Loved that team!
I was a fan of the Blues before that but that team made it a passion of mine.BillP wrote: Sat Nov 11, 2023 11:32 pmI know we won the Cup but the 85-86 Blues are still my favorite team. That was a lovable team with Demers and Caron running the show. Loved that team!
Yeah, that team jump started everything. It was a special group. A couple years later Hull got picked up and things really took off.BluesSK wrote: Sat Nov 11, 2023 11:36 pmI was a fan of the Blues before that but that team made it a passion of mine.
I thought it was a long, long time ago. It would HAVE to be, for me to be able to remember it! I would have guessed it would have been during Hull's time.
