It wasn't nearly as bad as it is now. But it was ALWAYS a lousy way to decide a TEAM game. I NEVER had a problem with teams tying a few games a season. People these days have no patience. The playoffs are won by quality play in loads of games over a long season. No need to have a winning team in EVERY SINGLE regular season game, at the expense of bringing in a skills contest to win a TEAM game. That punishes teams like The 2018-2019 Blues, who built their team with depth of quality, hard-working players, as opposed to top-heavy teams which have several superstars and less depth. Personally, I have a preference for The Blues' 2019 approach, and so, I really HATE the 3 on 3 and shootout. It's also more enjoyable to play on teams like that.

This team is fucking slow and has no real transition through the neutral zone. Kevin Hayes looks like he learned to skate six weeks ago... Robert Thomas is not a first line center... Jordan Kyrou is a lazy piece of shit... the only people further from the play were sitting in row Q.
