17Super back checking by Kyrou!!! This is 3 games in a row where he is really helping out and making a difference on defence. I hope he will be doing this from here on out for the rest of his career.

18Kyrou just made a great stick lift to save a grade A chance for the Caps. Second time I've seen that from him the last few games. He still overhandles it from time to time, but his give a shit levels defensively are noticeably higher lately. Great to see.

24Great 1st Period for The Blues, and they'll have a short Power Play on the fresh ice, soon after the start of The 2nd. I'm impressed with the hustle of Pitlick, Acciari, and Leivo, and Kyrou and Tarasenko as well, and especially their getting back and making a big difference on defence. O'Reilly's new energy, and Buchnevich coming back to life is also great news for The Blues. It seems like they're on their way to get back in the playoff race.
