Krug and Bozak were at the optional skate this morning. If Krug plays, which I'm thinking he'll be motivated to do so, it'd be his first game back in Boston.

Back at the scene of the cup raising. Fond memories.

Good exercise for the Blues tonight. Boston pretty much still plays the same way. Blues will need to come out sharp or they'll be down early................

Boston is also super-hot recently, and 1 point behind Tampa for the #3 spot in the Atlantic, so they're motivated, too.

Pastrnak and Lindholm both look like they're out tonight, which is good for the Blues, but we still can't take them lightly.

Thomas is two goals away from 20
ROR is three goals away from 20
Faulk is 2 goals away from 15
Krug is 2 goals away from 10
Parayko is 4 goals away from 10 (not likely, IMHO, but would be nice)
Walker is 3 goals away from 10

O'Reilly makes a nice feed to Perron as he drives the net! He makes a nice move and backhands it in!!! Blues lead 1-0!!! His 24th!!!

but before I can finish typing this, The Bruins score with a lot of men in front and a good screen.

And Saad takes the puck all the way up ice and drives in on goal for a shorthanded chance! And soon after, the penalty is killed.

Then, The Blues bring it up ice, and Thomas shoots a hard blast, that looks like Buchnevich knocked it in!!! But, it was ruled offside!

That Bruins' goal went between Schenn's legs, making it hard for Husso to pick up. But, it may also have changed direction slightly off his skate.

An up-and-down 1st period for The Blues. They played decently on offence, with several beautiful plays, although they missed several chances. But, they played subpar on defence, as they often have during 1st Periods this season. I hope they tighten it up in The 2nd.

Great defensive play by Leddy on the speedy Taylor Hall, keeping him from driving in on goal, pushing him off and grabbing the puck. And now, Husso makes a super leg save, and sweeps the puck out of the crease, and danger.
