2No surprise but it's confirmed Husso in net tonight

3A little line juggling is nice to see after the last couple games. I wonder if Schenn was pushing to move back to the middle. It's also Bozak's 800th career game tonight. Only the 3rd undrafted player to hit that mark. That's awesome to see for a guy that seems to be loved in the room.
...but whatever, the Blues won the Cup!!!!!

6Calgary played last night against Columbus. Their arms are probably tired from putting 62 SHOTS ON GOAL against CBJ. 62!!! That feels like a number from the early 80s when only 40% of defensemen could skate backwards.
...but whatever, the Blues won the Cup!!!!!

7It was the highest shot total in a regulation game since '82 or '84, something like that.Dave's a mess wrote: Thu Jan 27, 2022 2:50 pm Calgary played last night against Columbus. 8I think the stat is that he's the 3rd undrafted player who's currently playing to hit that mark, Mark Giordano (Kraken) and Andy Greene (Isles) are the others.Dread_Pirate_Westley wrote: Thu Jan 27, 2022 12:10 pmThat's an incredible statDave's a mess wrote: Thu Jan 27, 2022 11:52 am A little line juggling is nice to see after the last couple games. That makes sense because Wayne Gretzky was undrafted as well. Bozak is in fine company

12The Blues have Husso in net, and the skaters look like they can actually skate tonight. So it looks like they'll have a chance to actually win tonight, unlike the game in Calgary.

14Grabbing the great pass from Schenn, Saad skates towards the goal and lets a blast fly into the net past the goalie!!!! Blues lead 1-0!!!
Re: GDT: St Louis Blues vs Flames - 1/27 7:00
17Super save by Husso on a 2 on 1 with Tkachuk shooting!
Re: GDT: St Louis Blues vs Flames - 1/27 7:00
18Schenn shoots on his drive off the rush and blasts it by the goalie!!! Blues lead 2-1!!!
Re: GDT: St Louis Blues vs Flames - 1/27 7:00
20Tarasenko was interfered with on his drive to the net and no call. Then Perron was held and no call. It looks like the refs are swallowing their whistles tonight.

Re: GDT: St Louis Blues vs Flames - 1/27 7:00
22Blues had a much better 1st Period tonight than they did in Calgary on Monday. Let's hope they have a typical home 2nd Period, and grab a 2+ goal lead. They've been backchecking well tonight, but having a little trouble with puck control. I hope they can clean that up.
Re: GDT: St Louis Blues vs Flames - 1/27 7:00
23Those added to the 48 they took against The Blues Monday night, that's 110 in 2 games - averaging 55 shots a game!Dave's a mess wrote: Thu Jan 27, 2022 2:50 pm Calgary played last night against Columbus.
