Finally, real Blues hockey news. Took a gander at the roster. We are mighty thin on prospects.

Look pretty solid in goal though.

I've been eatching the 2nd period of the TOR v CBJ prospects match on the Columbus stream (provided by the Leafs network). The Leafs skaters have white practice jerseys on, with the Jackets prospects in dark blue. But the Toronto goalie is also wearing a dark blue uniform. Very confusing to the viewer on offensive plays by Columbus. :?

I'd love to see his 23 and me results.

Perunovich looked fantastic in the first period. Also played the majority of his shifts on the right side. Bortz better have a helluva a camp

Hofer not looking impressive in the 2nd. Not all his fault, but Leafs up 3-0 halfway thru the game.

Blues get a 4-minute PP with 5 minutes left in the 2nd period. Goure takes an awkward shot off a feed to him in the slot, and the Blues prospects get their first goal. 3-1 TOR.

If only I knew who's wearing #74 for the Blues, I could tell you who got them to within 1 goal in the third period during a 4-on-4 sequence. 3-2 Toronto.

ETA: OOPS, guess I made an errant click on the video bar.

Moving on to 3-on-3 OT, tied at 3's just like the Leafs did with the Jackets yesterday.

A minute into the OT, Hofer got fooled by a fake cross-ice pass & T.O. wins 4-3. Harsh words between the teams as they were supposed to be exiting the ice. Much ado about nothing.

Very very impressed with his play. Exciting piece for us in the near future I hope. Can just see how he thinks the game so we’ll, and really agile skater
