I'm going to sound like a broken record but McKinnon has absolutely undressed Faulk twice this period. He's also had two bad pass turnovers.
So far, unimpressed.

Man, the puck sure finds Thomas' stick! I can't wait until he breaks through as an all-the-time difference-maker!
Another good period for The Blues. They need to keep up the intensity and energy in The 3rd, and not get tired from the thinner air.

I think this game has shown that once the puck is in our D zone, we're going to miss Petro, Bo and Steener a lot in those instances.
After two periods, that's my biggest concern with this team. Our D corps is going to have to get much more structured defensively.

Yup, Mikkola might be a possible solution here. That Scandella contract might end up biting us.
