Sounds like this is Necas' last deal with the Canes. Either they trade him or he walks.

He's been part of trade rumors for the last year or so. You're right it's highly unlikely he's on the team after the trade deadline in 2026 unless they're a primetime Cup contender.

Fiala is a fine player but the Kings have to be kicking themselves for trading Faber. I think him being a Minnesota boy and returning for his Junior year scared them a bit. It's the Snuggerud situation.

Yeah and I mute Woj and any of these other guys on draft nights for spoiling picks. Fire em all, put em in prison for all I care. Pick spoiling is worse than if he had been gambling, imo.

If you read the replies they list a bunch of incidents where the exact same thing happened with no penalties.
