Utah Yeti isn't terrible
Its annoying though because the plural of Yeti is Yetis. I don't particularly like any of them and I find it annoying that modern pro sports teams can't recycle names that are already in use. Nobody cares that there are multiple Giants, Panthers etc scattered across pro sports leagues. Copyright laws or whatever it the problem now that wasn't decades ago stink.

Coyotes are quite common in Utah, they could just keep the name.

Coyotes are quite common in Utah, they could just keep the name.
The owner of the coyotes would have to ok it first as they still retain all "arizona coyote" rights
Now now, the Canadian Government has apologized for Bryan Adams on SEVERAL occasions!

There’s a lot of great names out there. But Dave is right, everyone out there trying to come up with a new one and the well is running dry now. Good luck with that. But so what if you use a name already out there in another sport, if it sounds great do it.
