27Good kill started out with Steen deep in their end.
need some more chances

Re: GDT: Blues @ Las Veges - 9:30 - FSMW
31What was THAT??? They had a loose puck inside The Knights' Zone with 3 Blues around it (1 just outside), and they skate ever so slowly and casually, and let it slide slowly out of the zone. They had a reasonable chance of scoring if one hustled to keep it in. Don't they want to win? No energy left at the BEGINNING of The 3rd!
Oh well, Blues score. Thorburn knocks it in! Ties it up at 3! Shut my mouth!

33What the heck, as soon as I say that Vegas with a 2 on 1. Geez
Re: GDT: Blues @ Las Veges - 9:30 - FSMW
34Parayko making me very nervous in the 3rd. He needs to regain his swagger in the offseason, or now would be better.
Re: GDT: Blues @ Las Veges - 9:30 - FSMW
35Ducks beat the kings in OT. The worst outcome of that game possible.
Re: GDT: Blues @ Las Veges - 9:30 - FSMW
37Chris Thorburn of all people (and great goaltending from Allen) get us a huge point. Hopefully someone can step up and get us another.
Re: GDT: Blues @ Las Veges - 9:30 - FSMW
38Blues get the valuable 1st point, at least staying tied with The Avs. Now they need to get that 2nd point.

About half that crowd was Kings fans. What a rivalry those 2 got.
Re: GDT: Blues @ Las Veges - 9:30 - FSMW
40Schmaltz didn't return to the game after the 2nd, any word?
Re: GDT: Blues @ Las Veges - 9:30 - FSMW
42You could read Yeo's lips when he watched the video. He said "that's a goal" and that's how it looks to me.
Re: GDT: Blues @ Las Veges - 9:30 - FSMW
45So we’re now tied on points with COL with a game in hand, 1 point behind the Ducks with a game in hand, and 2 behind LAK with two games in hand.
Certainly not a great night standings wise for us, but we still control our destiny at the end of the night which is really all you can ask for.

46Allen good but not great tonight. He made the saves expected but not many of those incredible ones. Unfortunately when you take a couple of months off incredible saves are what is called for.
That said he has had a great run of games when he was needed and had no backup to go to. I'm sure we will see Hutton get the start tomorrow night.
Still,we got a point and all things considered that is pretty decent.

47Why did Schenn let that screen man (Karlsson) stand right in front of Allen, and he stood next to Karlsson, blocking the rest of Allen's view. Standing there anyway, why didn't he push Karlsson to the outside before Marchessault received the puck, and could get a shot off?
Re: GDT: Blues @ Las Veges - 9:30 - FSMW
48You would need to ask Schenn that.Robb_K wrote:Why did Schenn let that screen man (Karlsson) stand right in front of Allen, and he stood next to Karlsson, blocking the rest of Allen's view. I'm not sure if Schenn could of done anything to prevent the outcome on that shot. And that's today's NHL anyway. You see it all the time now.
Re: GDT: Blues @ Las Veges - 9:30 - FSMW
50Would the refs call an interference penalty in essentially a playoff game for a bit of position jockeying? Schenn, standing where he was, was blocking the other half of Allen's view. The Blues would have been better off with Karlsson there all alone, if Schenn wasn't going to push him aside.
