To lose to a tired Dallas team like this is really disappointing.

Our special teams are absolutely awful. Change needs to happen.

We need some kind of a shake-up. It's uninspired hockey. And we desperately need a center. I think they should call up Dvorsky.
Clearly, Blues' management think Dvorsky is NOT physically ready to play centre in The NHL, otherwise they'd have brought him up. They must think it would be risky to try to play him in The NHL now. He needs to add muscle bulk and strength, and, perhaps need to learn more of how to play defence, as well. I trust the Blues' coaching staff, who watch him every day to make that determination, rather than my own uneducated guesses or wishes.

I’ve never understood why it’s such a common thing in hockey. Obviously you want to change things up that aren’t working but if you’re constantly doing it how do you even know what will work and won’t.

The only positive to this team being stuck in neutral is hopefully Army won’t be tempted to give up assets for a small chance at a playoff spot.

Berube was playing endless musical chairs with the lines before he was canned too. It's a terrible coaching habit.

I think there was hope after the Calgary sweep but that opportunity is toast now. I think we should be sellers and start focusing on next season. It's time to get some assets sold who aren't in the future plans and get some kids up here to see what we got.

And we need a special teams coach. That's a priority.

Curious what we have as far as sellable trade deadline pieces. Maybe Suter? Not sure Faksa nets you anything. Saad but that seems more like a salary dump type move. Sunny has zero value as injuries have done in his career.

The Blues are 25th in PP% and 28th in PK%. If they netted out to around league average I'm willing to bet they wouldn't be 5 points out of the last wild card spot.
...but whatever, the Blues won the Cup!!!!!

Both go back to the defense for me. No true PP QB and no true shut down pairing on D.

Kind of a bummer that Perunovich didn't pop when he got his shot. For all the frustrating line juggling, I'm glad they gave him a decent amount of run on PP1. I hope Colin Ralph is able to develop into a viable NHL player, because he seems made for the PK.

In good news, Jiricek has looked pretty decent since joining Brantford.

And Stenberg has chipped in 4 points in his first 6 AHL games.
