Huge game.
Cam Fowler had 4 points in 17 games with Anaheim and was a -7. He has 5 points in 7 games with the Blues and is a +6.

Looks like a change of scenery is doing him good so far.
991 games in Anaheim and he couldn't wait to get out.

Good trade. It's really solidified our defense.

drove him face-first into the glass. That wasn’t anything other than an obvious intent to injure… nothing like just “finishing his check”.
The hit and the resulting fight for those who didn't see it. Proud of Tucker for stepping up. It's the thing he needs to do to keep his spot in the lineup because the Blues desperately need guys like that. Of course, being able to play some defense is a thing too.

My guess on the two minutes. It wasn't super violent, both players were gliding, he didn't come off the ice. When comparing to something like the recent Rempe hit, he both came off the ice and drove the forearm to the back of the head.

Just a Russian propaganda account

You don't square up on a guy who is vulnerable, and has given up the puck already, and try to drive his head through the glass. The fact that Lauzon's feet stayed in his skates, and that his skates stayed on the ice, doesn't diminish the type of hit that it was. There are other camera angles available to the zebras for review beside the one you are showing, one is from directly on the opposite side of the glass... it was a very dangerous hit and deserved more than 2 minutes. If the roles were reversed, I'd say Jake gets 5.
