583Per JR's recent article:
"But the Blues power play has only one game-tying goal all season, and it was the unit’s most recent one in Pittsburgh on Dec. 30. The Blues power play has not scored a go-ahead goal this season, and has scored only 12 goals overall."
Dear god, that is pathetic.

584We have the worst PP in the league at 10.6%.Ozzies09tc wrote: Wed Jan 10, 2024 1:27 pm Per JR's recent article:

Dear god, that is pathetic.
San Jose is the worst team in the league by a fair margin (5 points in the standings), and THEIR power play is 19.4%
If we had an AVERAGE (~20%) PP, we'd be in a wild-card spot.

586Kyrou has a ton of skill but he's basically a north-south player. I think his hockey sense is sub-par. His career needs to be focused on taking the puck away or receiving a pass and burying it in the net. That's it.Ozzies09tc wrote: Thu Jan 11, 2024 5:32 am Thomas/Kyrou demoted to pp2

Bannister got away with playing him with Thomas for awhile but that won't last.

This is rich coming from the team that was happy to take Lindros when he wouldn't sign with Quebec.

595Blues PP is now 21% under Bannister. Could be coaching, could just be a historically bad PP just balancing out, but it's worth noting since so many have wondered where this team would be with an average PP.
Also, I'd be curious how much value Binnington has. I'm not advocating trading him, but if the Blues believe they are 3ish years away, it's at least something you consider as he's got to have substantial value right now playing at an all-star level.
