Robb_K wrote: Thu Jan 27, 2022 8:49 pm The Blues have really balanced scoring: Kyrou 16 goals, Barbashev, Buchnevich and Saad 15, Tarasenko 14, Schenn 10. And Schenn is so low, because he's only played 26 games. Had he played all 42 games, he'd have 16 goals. And Perron has 8 goals in only 29 games. Had he played 42 games, he'd have 12 goals. So, The Blues have seven players scoring at a double figure pace only half way through the season!!! Very nice!
After tonight, we'll have SIX regular player who would be on a pace for 30+ goals over 82 games (Not including Nathan Walker, who had 4 goals in 9 games): Kyrou, Buchnevich, Tarasenko, Barbashev, Schenn, and Saad. Fill out the top-9 with Perron, O'Reilly, and Thomas, and that's a HELLA deep forward corps.
Exactly. Only half the season has been played, and The Blues have 7 players in double figures in goals, on a pace for 20+ goals, and 2 more are on a per-game pace for 20+. That's enough to fill their Top 9 forwards. But Thomas, in The Top 6, has only 5, but is near a point a game pace. But this is the most balanced scoring team The Blues have ever had.

I was wrong about Krug. We still need another solid D to help out back there but he’s been very very good.
Pairing him with Faulk has been very beneficial to both of them. Just need to find someone that can get the best out of Parayko now.

Yeah, I've liked Mikkola well enough in that spot but Colt just simply has to be better himself too. He's never going to be a #1 but drawing tough assignments against the opposition he just has to be better in his own end. He's had way too many games in the negative ledger the last year or so. Part of that is not having a guy like Bo next to him, and part of it is just him struggling. Love the guy but he just has to step it up a notch if we want to beat the Colorado's of the world in a series.

Agreed. He's a team worst -15 on a team that has a plus 35 goal differential.
