Exactly. Only half the season has been played, and The Blues have 7 players in double figures in goals, on a pace for 20+ goals, and 2 more are on a per-game pace for 20+. That's enough to fill their Top 9 forwards. But Thomas, in The Top 6, has only 5, but is near a point a game pace. But this is the most balanced scoring team The Blues have ever had.RAFritchey wrote: Thu Jan 27, 2022 9:18 pmAfter tonight, we'll have SIX regular player who would be on a pace for 30+ goals over 82 games (Not including Nathan Walker, who had 4 goals in 9 games): Kyrou, Buchnevich, Tarasenko, Barbashev, Schenn, and Saad. Fill out the top-9 with Perron, O'Reilly, and Thomas, and that's a HELLA deep forward corps.Robb_K wrote: Thu Jan 27, 2022 8:49 pm The Blues have really balanced scoring: Kyrou 16 goals, Barbashev, Buchnevich and Saad 15, Tarasenko 14, Schenn 10. And Schenn is so low, because he's only played 26 games. Had he played all 42 games, he'd have 16 goals. And Perron has 8 goals in only 29 games. Had he played 42 games, he'd have 12 goals. So, The Blues have seven players scoring at a double figure pace only half way through the season!!! Very nice!

52Nice win. I would of been disappointed in the Blues if they didn’t win convincingly tonight given the Flames played last night and expended so much offense.
Re: GDT: St Louis Blues vs Flames - 1/27 7:00
53JK and panger can joke all they want, but that WAS a takedown. Classic slew-foot judo move by Perron. If someone did that to one of our guys, I’d be fucking furious. If you don’t want to fight, don’t, but that shit is dangerous.
But since he skates for the good guys, whatever gets you going i guess DP.

54Pairing him with Faulk has been very beneficial to both of them. Just need to find someone that can get the best out of Parayko now.ratonmono wrote: Thu Jan 27, 2022 10:31 pmI was wrong about Krug. We still need another solid D to help out back there but he’s been very very good.Dread_Pirate_Westley wrote: Thu Jan 27, 2022 9:55 pm Just want to point out that Torey Krug is now a plus 20(second to Faulk and no one else on D is close to them) on the season and has 25 points in 38 games. He’s on pace for his best statistical season yet.

55Yeah, I've liked Mikkola well enough in that spot but Colt just simply has to be better himself too. He's never going to be a #1 but drawing tough assignments against the opposition he just has to be better in his own end. He's had way too many games in the negative ledger the last year or so. Part of that is not having a guy like Bo next to him, and part of it is just him struggling. Love the guy but he just has to step it up a notch if we want to beat the Colorado's of the world in a series.Dread_Pirate_Westley wrote: Fri Jan 28, 2022 11:33 amPairing him with Faulk has been very beneficial to both of them. 56Agreed. He's a team worst -15 on a team that has a plus 35 goal differential.ratonmono wrote: Fri Jan 28, 2022 1:05 pmYeah, I've liked Mikkola well enough in that spot but Colt just simply has to be better himself too.
