30An errant Flames' pass goes straight to Saad, skating in on goal!!!! He blasts it in!!! His 2nd! Blues lead 3-1!!!!
Re: GDT: St Louis Blues vs Flames - 1/27 7:00
36The Blues will go on the power play! It will be nice if they could be ahead 4-1 going into The 3rd!
Re: GDT: St Louis Blues vs Flames - 1/27 7:00
37The Blues have really balanced scoring: Kyrou 16 goals, Barbashev, Buchnevich and Saad 15, Tarasenko 14, Schenn 10. And Schenn is so low, because he's only played 26 games. Had he played all 42 games, he'd have 16 goals. And Perron has 8 goals in only 29 games. Had he played 42 games, he'd have 12 goals. So, The Blues have seven players scoring at a double figure pace only half way through the season!!! Very nice!

38I'm very happy with The Blues leading by 2 going into The 3rd Period. They've played with a lot of energy. Good that their tiredness at the end of the long road trip only cost them one game. I hope they play well in The 3rd and grab the 2 points.

39Super pass by Thomas to Kyrou, in front. Kyrou waits for Markstrom to go down, and he lifts it over him!!! His 17th!!! Blues lead 4-1!!!!

41After tonight, we'll have SIX regular player who would be on a pace for 30+ goals over 82 games (Not including Nathan Walker, who had 4 goals in 9 games): Kyrou, Buchnevich, Tarasenko, Barbashev, Schenn, and Saad. Fill out the top-9 with Perron, O'Reilly, and Thomas, and that's a HELLA deep forward corps.Robb_K wrote: Thu Jan 27, 2022 8:49 pm The Blues have really balanced scoring: Kyrou 16 goals, Barbashev, Buchnevich and Saad 15, Tarasenko 14, Schenn 10. 42The Blues will get another power play with 5 minutes + left, to help protect their lead. Just don't get careless and give up a shorty.
Re: GDT: St Louis Blues vs Flames - 1/27 7:00
43The Blues will have a power play until the end of the game!
Re: GDT: St Louis Blues vs Flames - 1/27 7:00
44That was a goal!!!! O'Reilly picks up the garbage and lifts it into the net for his 10th!!!! Blues lead 5-1!!!

49Just want to point out that Torey Krug is now a plus 20(second to Faulk and no one else on D is close to them) on the season and has 25 points in 38 games. He’s on pace for his best statistical season yet.

50I was wrong about Krug. We still need another solid D to help out back there but he’s been very very good.Dread_Pirate_Westley wrote: Thu Jan 27, 2022 9:55 pm Just want to point out that Torey Krug is now a plus 20(second to Faulk and no one else on D is close to them) on the season and has 25 points in 38 games.
