Nice to see Blais continue to play well since his return to the lineup, driving to the net often, and setting up there. Nice deflection goal. Good for The Blues to score first.
And The Blues are on the power play, so maybe they can extend their lead.
Re: GDT: Minnesota Wild vs Your St Louis Blues - 7:00 4/29
28The Blues were pretty sloppy on that power play. Maybe Bortuzzo's fight can help The Blues capture back the momentum.

32As you might've already guessed, the answer is ... Zero. But there are six former NHL/KHL players whose names are on both the Stanley Cup & the Gagarin Cup: Oleg Tverdosky; Slava Kosloff; Serge Zubov (with an asterisk - he was a team coach when his team was the KHL champ); Pavel Datsyuk; Alexander OvechkinDread_Pirate_Westley wrote: Thu Apr 29, 2021 7:23 pmI'm hoping Kostin. I wonder how many players have raised the KHL cup and Stanley Cup in the same season?Dave's a mess wrote: Thu Apr 29, 2021 7:18 pm So who does ROR give the Cup to first? Does he go with one of the veterans or one of the guys that didn't get a chance to hold it in 2019?
and Nicklas Backstrom (double asterisk - neither were on their KHL team's roster when the Gagarin Cup was passed around, but their former team decided to include their names for regular season playing time while the NHL was on pause that year).

34Thank goodness Husso is playing very well early this game. The Blues need to score the next goal, to take the pressure off him.

35You can never go wrong taking the pass. Coaches love that.
Re: GDT: Minnesota Wild vs Your St Louis Blues - 7:00 4/29
37I got my wish!!! The Blues score next!!! Bozak with the shorty on a nifty backhand then forehand for the flip-in!!! Blues lead 2-0!!!
And they make the kill, too!!!

41Great that Husso has kept all the loose pucks under him, and not let any be muscled into the net. His play has really impressed me tonight.
Re: GDT: Minnesota Wild vs Your St Louis Blues - 7:00 4/29
42I don't think I jinxed Husso by praising his play tonight. Eriksson-Ek made a super move back around and shot quickly off it, and Parayko was partially screening it as well.

49Having Sanford on the ice in the final minute probably isn't a decision I would've made but hey, love the confidence.
