Looking like that don’t it? 5th place now. At times, this team still seems formidable, but they aren’t winning the close games now.

I never would’ve guessed at the beginning of this season that this team would’ve be a playoff team.

I’m also worried about JB50

Rule 57 – Tripping 57.1Tripping – A player shall not place the stick, knee, foot, arm, hand or elbow in such a manner that causes his opponent to trip or fall. Accidental trips which occur simultaneously with a completed play will not be penalized. Accidental trips occurring simultaneously with or after a stoppage of play will not be penalized.57.2Minor Penalty - A minor penalty shall be imposed on any player who shall place his stick or any portion of his body in such a manner that it shall cause his opponent to trip and fall.
They need to define "completed play" in the rule book. This is like a player that bashes an opponent on the follow-through... they don't penalize that. Perron didn't slide ,in an effort to take down one of the dirtiest bastards in the game.. he slid to keep the puck in, which he did, and the dirty bastard skated into him and fell down.

Robb_K wrote: Fri Apr 02, 2021 10:45 pm The Blues played with more energy than previous games, but Binnington let in a bad goal, and The Blues, being outskated, gave up too many penalties, plus, the refs added 2 that shouldn't have been. But, the bottom line is that The Blues, somehow have to play better. Unfortunately, they have 16 of the remaining 20 games against the 3 teams ahead of them, so they have few less important games for the previously-injured players to get used to playing with their teammates, and get into a good groove. I think it's not a great bet that they'll make the playoffs.
Is it really a bad thing that we're playing the top teams? One of them in the playoffs is our reward for winning, gonna have to play them either way. Also, as we are playing from behind, each game is a 4 point game and an opportunity to move ahead.

If we're good enough, we make it. If not, we didn't deserve to be there anyway.
