Dubnyk and Binnington didn't have it at all today. Berube did the right thing in pulling Bin. Don't know if Jones would have done better but it's hard to do worse than this.

in hindsight, pulling dubnyk probably would've helped. but when your alternative is the worst goalie in the league, it's a tough trigger to pull.

Good game for a rebuilding team: fun to watch and the young guys looked great. Really liking Leonard and Donato on the same line except they need an actual 3C...Balcers still looks great, and Meier and Labanc played better tonight. Gregor is still a solid 4th line LW, and I liked what I saw from Chmelevski. He should get elevated in the lineup...Gambrell was hit or miss, but he's no top-6 center. I think he can be a solid 4C though. Best game of the year for Karlsson for sure...a team that plays like this with speed and skill is ideal for him. Burns on the other hand was abysmal defensively...yikes. Dubnyk pumpkin'd big time as well...a young team that wants to play with pace can't have a goalie giving up so many soft goals back there. Definitely looking like they have a solid amount of 24 and under players though...gotta see if they can keep it up for another 30 games.

Overall the team played well, the goaltending is just comical. Basically they can't allow shots, if they do, they're probably going to lose.

Based on limited views, I'm thinking Gambrell, Gregor, and Chmelevski should be trade pieces when there needs to be a throw-in. These guys are all easily replaceable with seemingly limited potential. Balcers is looking like the last guy to protect. He's running away with that last protection spot.

Our fate is that we will continue to trade for good goalies then ruin their confidence, discard them, and start again. I can't see this organization developing a goalie much less keep them from being hung out to dry and worn out regularly. But this won't exclude the possibility of trading for shit goalies either lol

I mean it wouldn't make sense to pay Seattle to take him unless it was very cheap as opposed to buying him out. The buyout isn't bad after this year. The 2022 is very stacked and if you get a top 5 pick, you get a potential superstar. It could make sense to wait but it'll depend on if Wilson plans to rebuild on the fly with these big contracts. He's stuck in the middle with this roster his assembled

I wish they would use this jersey with the new crest and go with that as the normal jersey.

Thought this was jL and Balcers best games. Both guys showed some serious skill and compete. Hope we get more of that. Might just be able to outscore their problems if those 2 keep progressing the way they are. Gregor should have had 2 goals tonight and Kane could have had 4. Even Gamby had nice creativity that unfortunately didn't pan out.

I've said it before... the old logo looks like a 5 year old was trying to draw the new logo. It was fine in a vacuum but now that we have the new one, I can't stand the old one.
