3530Panthers put an end to the Canes streak. Best two teams I’ve seen play this year.

Re: News and Games around the NHL
3535It sucks, but they've known the rules for some time. Other teams have had to go with short benches for the same reason this year. At least we have 12 and 6. I don't trust that teams wouldn't screw with tests and abuse the loophole for cap shenanigans. Just one of the risks in being a team close to the cap this year.ratonmono wrote:That’s pretty shitty. Re: News and Games around the NHL
3538Apparently everyone in the organization hates him. Supposedly there wasn't a big specific incident that led to this, just people reporting borderline abusive behavior in large volume after the NHL sent a memo requiring teams to report such behavior in the wake of the Hawks scandal. I have no idea how he's kept his job for so long given that the Ducks have been directionless for years and only recently started to rebuild.

-His teams have finished lower in the League standings each year since 2013-14.
-He threw a chair in a press box that hit and injured a woman years ago.
-He is apparently known throughout the league as an asshole.

Of course, you have those bosses and business that do treat their employees like shit and then cry when they can't find workers to work.

There's a huge difference between being an "asshole" in the workplace and being a criminal sexual predator.
Re: News and Games around the NHL
3548Of course there's a difference. Bob Murray is apparently only guilty of being a prick, which is not illegal, but there's also nothing wrong with the Ducks telling everyone the reason why he's being shelfed at the moment is because they have to make sure he didn't do anything worse than being a huge prick. Without getting too self-righteous, my point was that things do matter beyond results. The Hawks are a prime example of that.BluesSK wrote: Wed Nov 10, 2021 11:01 amScandals usually drop when everyone is crying. Not when they are winning.
