I think the idea that a guy needs to become “the guy” in the AHL first is a false narrative. I could be wrong but I don’t recall Sanford, Blais, SunnyD, Eddy, Fabbri, MacMac, JB50 ever dominating that league. Why’s everyone scared to see what Kostin can do? His upside is far more than any of the bo...

I don't really think Kostin has a shot at making the big club out of camp unless he has a monster preseason and their are a few injuries. I think it's just a numbers game and there isn't enough room for him right now if everybody's healthy. I think the most reasonable path for him to the NHL roster...

So far he's shown his commitment by moving to the US and playing in the AHL. How many Russians have done that?
