yeah every time i participate live and choose my own next pick i do way worse in the season than auto-pick. i alternate every year and last year i did a combo of live and auto (had to duck out early) and still funneled. probably auto pick this year. unless there are objections, i'll set it for 9/23....

I vote for maybe a week before season starts, give folks some time to see some preseason games and also time after the draft to get things in order.
