Weakest penalty shot call I've ever seen....ever!I'llBeBackes wrote:What the fuck? Garbutt whacked Elliott in the back of the head after the play, and no call plus a penalty shot. That's bullshit.

Re: GDT: Blues at Stars
32I'm stuck with the Dallas feed tonight here in Texas. The Dallas announcer said Gunner was playing a terrible period, that Elliott probably did not get knocked off his feet that easily, but gave him credit for being a veteran to draw the call. And on the penalty shot they said that Moen being a lefty made a crafty move to freeze Elliott to score that. Glad to see Berglund in the middle of the ice shooting again
Re: GDT: Blues at Stars
35Berglund!!! Another re-direction!! This time on a Shattenkirk shot! 2-1 Blues!!!!
Schwartz scores on his own rebound!!! 3-1 Blues!!!

Re: GDT: Blues at Stars
37Nice turnover by Bouw, solid screen by Petro. A solid team effort on that goal against.
Re: GDT: Blues at Stars
39And now The Blues don't pay attention, and the lead is back to 1. The Blues seem to let down a LOT right after they score. They also let down a lot just after killing off penalties and failing to score on power plays, and at the end of periods. That's poor discipline. It's a weak and loser's attitude. The Blues need to get mentally stronger and more determined.
Re: GDT: Blues at Stars
40To be fair, Gunnar has been pretty invisible tonight.Russd14 wrote:I'm stuck with the Dallas feed tonight here in Texas. 41Shattenkirk showing how good of a defensive player he is keepingDaley from getting a quality shot.
Re: GDT: Blues at Stars
42Berglund should have scored on that breakaway. He didn't even try to make a move, and telegraphed his shot by constantly looking where he was going to shoot it. How did he ever become highly-touted enoughto become a 1st rounder, when he has such stone hands and poor finishing skills????
Re: GDT: Blues at Stars
43WHAT THE FUCK WAS THAT????????????????
GET THE FUCKING PUCK OUT OF THE ZONE!!!!!!!!!!!!
GET THE FUCKING PUCK OUT OF THE ZONE!!!!!!!!!!!!
Re: GDT: Blues at Stars
45Can we get the puck out of the zone?! Jesus. So frustrating to see the same mistakes all the time with this team. Mental lapses, can't get the puck out of the zone...ugh. Mentally weak + overcoached = can't respond when the pressure ramps up
Re: GDT: Blues at Stars
46To be fair, he had two Dallas players taking the middle away, so he really only had one option.Robb_K wrote:Berglund should have scored on that breakaway. Re: GDT: Blues at Stars
498 Blues couldn't get the puck out of their zone on that play. I KNEW it was going to end up in their net. And sure enough it did. What a weird game! They could have been losing 9-1, or winning 6-1. It's VERY frustrating that they were ahead 3-1 and couldn't hold that lead for 10 SECONDS!!!
