He's incredibly miscast on this team though. There is just no way he should be on a top pairing for a team if they think they are a contender. Also, 66% of the time he starts in the defensive zone, that's just a complete misuse for him. Which led to him having his worst season of shots for vs shots against while on the ice.

He's not a shut down d-man like Parayko and shouldn't be buried in his own end.
