Pens are on an 8 game win streak. Blues have lost once in their last 10. Should be a fun one.

Looks like we dodge Malkin by a couple games. Fine by me.

Never forget the Blues traded Brian Elliott to Calgary for Jordan Kyrou

2 on 1 with Thomas and 91. Thomas goes for goal but can’t finish. Totally okay with it because he was aggressive vs forcing a pass. The defender dared him to pass

Nice to see Schenn back. Great lineup!

Thomas is still too uncertain of what he wants to do with the puck on odd-man rushes and breakaways.

Great sliding block by Mikkola to make a great goalie-style save!

It turns out that it got through to Binnington, and he made a super save. But great effort by Mikkola.

Good to see Binnington playing so well. He's kept The Blues from being a few goals down.

After all that, another couple of great saves by Binnington and The Blues will get all but a couple seconds of a power play on the fresh ice starting off The 2nd Period!

The Blues were winning a lot of puck battles and skating well, early, but they lost the momentum over the last third of The 1st Period. I hope the power play starting off The 2nd will get them the momentum back. Parayko, Mikkola, Kyrou, Thomas Faulk, Krug all were skating well.

Binnington is having to make a LOT of saves in this game. He won't have any chance of losing concentration.

Great move by Tarasenko to get by his man, and then he sends a beautiful feed right to the driving Kyrou's stick, and he blasts it by the goalie while in stride!!!! Blues lead 2-0!!! :dancingbanana: :dancingbanana: :dancingbanana: :dancingbanana: :dancingbanana:

Sid tried his normal bitch move of chopping Mik down with his stick like a tree and Mikkola busted Sid’s nose open. I’m so horny
