Hard to believe Blues getting dibs on the coldest game in history. Shit, if Bouwmeester was still playing undetected with that heart, this game would of done him in for sure. Good thing it played out the way it did for him.
This will just make next summer’s LSC parade that much more special. This team is unstoppable.

Was -36C last night with -49 wind chill. Brutal.
Where are you Whitehorse? Yellowknife?

At least the game is down south, in Minneapolis/St. Paul. It would be colder still, in Winnipeg. Anyway, people in Minnesota and Manitoba have clothes for that kind of weather. But, yes, it'd probably be a lot better view of what's going on on the ice, sitting in one's warm living room, watching the TV broadcast. And a lot less costly, too.

Saskatchewan, Robb. Only about four hour drive from Winnipeg.

Nothing says “beach wear” like Minnesota on New Year’s Day.

And the St. Louis Blues weren’t letting sub-zero temperatures get in the way of making a statement, and having a little fun, ahead of Saturday’s NHL Winter Classic against the Minnesota Wild at Target Field. ...

All the Draft Kings commercials, all the talk of betting in the studio, all these guys having way too much fun giving each other shit, and not one ribbing of Tocchet about it?? Man, and I thought these guys had balls.

Looks cold as fuck. Going to be chippy.

I was up there in MSP one February when it was -30 air temperature, let alone “feels like” and wind chill. It was easily the coldest I’ve ever been. Was outside having a smoke and saw a giant fat dude walking to his car with a too-small shirt so bottom half of his gut was exposed and he was wearing shorts. People are different up there.
