Apparently Calgary reads this board. You did it man!
I should have been more specific. With great power cones great responsibility.

Starting to actually get my hopes up about Zary.

Absolute tenacious play maker.

One scouts note on him: "The ceiling on Jarvis is very high due to his progression, but Zary is currently much more rounded. They both can make small plays in little space with such effectiveness. I get the same level of excitement from someone like Robert Thomas as I do with Zary."

Jarmo sometimes plays the smartest guy in the room role and seems to just take a guy out of absolute left field.

I kind of like the stockpiling pick play when this draft is supposedly kind of deep and meh, at this point.

I dont care how talented a guy is..I'm not drafting someone in the first round who has already had three concussions. Good luck to Lapierre though.

Usually if Army wants a guy, especially at this stage of the 1st round, he will trade up to get him.

very true as was the case with Thompson. Blues aren't loaded up with a lot of picks to move though. No second rounder.

I would think it would only take a third rounder to move up a few picks at this point.

Oh for sure but I just don't think the Blues want just two picks in the top 115 picks. I certainly wouldn't want that to be the case. Several players will be available at 26

He does it if there's only one first round grade left on their board. That's what happened with Tage Thompson.

After taking down twice, Lanny MacDonald really milked that pick for the Flames. Sorry Wes. I just want the best skating prospect left, as long as he has a modicum of hockey sense.

Homerun that the Flames traded down twice and still got him.
