The game will start tied 1-1 but will be a full 3 periods of hockey.

Allen gets the start. Fans will actually be there.

The NHL is using this game as a test to see if it increases scoring. It’s possible next year all games will start tied 1-1.

Hell, why not start them all off at 8-8? πŸ˜„πŸ˜„

If the Blues don't get some scoring from the forwards, they'd wind up losing 8-4.

I'm curious if he started the 1st go around or if the GA Binnington (assuming Binner started the last one) wont register and Allen could theoretically get a shutout with 1 goal against

My memory is that Binner was in goal that night.

Great thought!

Im pretty sure it was Allen. I vividly remember him standing on the ice, mask lifted when Jay Bo went down.

Weird, I had that same memory of Binnington. But then I'm 200 years past ancient, so nobody should pay any attention to anything I say. πŸ˜„

Assuming they play it...which I imagine they will. The NBA pulled the players off the floor in Utah. What a mess.

Tough kill by The Blues, considering they couldn't clear the puck until only 27 seconds was left in the penalty. But, with the help of good play by Allen, they succeed, anyway.

They suspended the entire season

The video replay of the henrique goal, shows it was in fact Allen in net in the previous go-around

I guess the idea is to play keep away for 60 minutes, and try to win this one in O.T.

The League will suspend the season just as Jayden Schwartz touches the puck at center ice for the 29th round of the shootout.

Pretty good 1st Period for The Blues, who dominated possession (with the help of 2 power plays). But, they still need to finish better, on average, otherwise they'll need to generate 25-30% more shots on goal and good chances than their opponents to end up winning. Still, I'm happy with what's happened so far.

Right, that's why they pulled them off the floor. My point was that they Blues and Ducks hadn't started yet, so it was possible they cancelled the game before puck drop.

TERRIBLE no-look pass by Faulk - straight to a Duck fairly deep in The Blues' Zone. Despite getting a little more comfortable with Berube's system and his teammates, he's STILL making concentration errors a lot more often than his teammates, and still has the Blues' worst +/- rating (without considering his lousy rate built up with The Hurricanes before joining The Blues.

2-2, Shakey Jakey Goal. I'll admit he was screened, yet that was three hole.

Sandford out of the dog house and back onto the score sheet.
