Allen starting. Gunnar is good to go but a healthy scratch. Parayko making progress but they say no need to rush him with how the team is playing.
Happy they are sticking with Mikkola even with Gunnar back.

John Gibson in goal for the Ducks tonight.
Ducks have lost 3 straight and 6 of 7. They've also given up 4 or more goals in 5 of their last 6. The other game they lost 3-0. They are also 2nd to last in the league in goals scored this season.
Needless to say, this is a really bad Hockey team the Blues are being forced to play tonight. They should really just forfeit so everyone can watch the National Championship game.

I know we don’t criticize Jake much anymore since he has played well, but God damn, he has a maddening inability to pick up long shots from the point. Binnington, on the other hand, seems to pick those up easily, even if there is a ton of traffic.

He’s made a career of making spectacular athletic saves, then letting in weak ones.

Bozak is legit having the most quietly good season for the Blues. He already has 11 goals. He had 13 and 11 the last two seasons.
