Not very happy with another period of no goal scoring by The Blues.

That was a frustrating period. Not enough push down low in the Stars zone. The powerplay was terrible. Come on dudes.

Panger and JK were talking about '08-09 as an example of how a team can turn it around. I've always had mixed feelings about that year. The epic comeback to finish in 6th was amazing as a fan, but we got swept by Vancouver in the first round. All it ended up doing for our rebuild was set it back a bit.

NOW, that being said, if we had stayed at the bottom of the pack in the standings that year we could have drafted a guy like Tavares or Duchene, which would have been great. On the other hand, the guy we did grab in the 1st round that year was Rundblad. And Rundblad became Tarasenko a year later. So in the end maybe it doesn't make much of a difference.
