Remember when we were sure that Schenn wouldn't want to re-sign here, and that we really should trade him to get something of value before he left as an UFA next Summer? And then, he signed that extension for a pretty reasonable rate, and surely he was going to slack off now that he'd cashed in?
I'm glad he's on this team, and going to be on it for several years to come!

He has been a great result for the fleece that DA pulled over Hextall's head.

Good 1st Period for The Blues. The Kings are very sloppy and disorganised. Nice to the big early lead to be able to relax this game and carry a nice record into the holiday break.

40 minutes is a LONG time, though, and I can't believe that Quick is this far off his game. If LA scores again before we do, they could be right back in it with plenty of time left.

So then we get Alexis Lafrenierre. I can live with that. It’s the wide open spaces between Cup winner and 1st overall pick that I don’t particularly care for.

Okay 2nd Period, but The Blues shouldn't just be marking time. They need to plain The Kings' Zone a lot more, or they'll let The Kings back into the game.

Blues are playing a little sloppy now, and the Kings are waking up. Better kill this penalty off and score a goal pretty quick, to put them away for good.
