The Blues played well on their first PK, but haven't played very well on The Power Play. I don't understand why they feel they can give up the puck by dumping it into the O-Zone, when they have the extra man, and several good puckhandlers.

Thomas has had an impressive first period.

DeLarose has looked very good so far. He's a good skater, hard worker, has good poise and patience, and has displayed good hockey sense in all zones so far. I know he's never been much of a scorer. But, i don't think he'd dragdown the offensive potential of either The 3rd or 4th Lines. So that is good news. He could be a good fit on either of those lines replacing Steen on The 4th, or my preference, of knocking Sanford out of the lineup, and replacing someone on The 3rd, who'll move up to replace Sanford.

Fun first period!

Good first Period on the road against a good team. That's easier to do with Binnington in net, making several great saves, when the home team comes out very strong, and he also is always very alert early, whereas, Allen often is not. Blais, Schenn, Sundqvist, Barbashev, Schwartz, O'Reilly, DeLaRose, Dunn, MacEachern, and Parayko all came to play with a lot of energy.

Nice stick work by DeLaRose, forcing a turnover. He's looked very good, so far.

All Blues but they can't get it in the net.

Great quick, crisp passing on This Power play has got them some good chances. They did pretty well with possession on that one, because they didn't deliberately given up the puck, and they had good puck movement, and only lost it a couple times, mostly near the end. Rittick made a few excellent saves to keep them from scoring.

Mr. Bean to the penalty box.

Perron and O'Reilly are great together.

O'Reilly blasts in in after a fine pass by Perron!!! Blues lead 2-0!!!

Good 2nd Period for The Blues. I'm really impressed with DeLaRose's overall play. He really knows how to use his body position, weight and leverage to keep the puck away from defenders, and to take the puck away from opponents. It was his great keep in after The Blues lost possession, that gave them that long, over 1 minute possession in The O-Zone, that led to some good scoring chances.

Blues look great. Man, the NHL sure has changed. The Blues workman like fashion continues to roll thru these teams. Amazing how our Blues are the best team in the league right now. Defending Champs and still the best.

Great move by Sundqvist , sliding right in front of the goal, all alone, ready to take a quick pass, which came while he was still all alone, but Rittick robbed him on his great shot! The Blues look great tonight!

2 goal lead in the third...this game is obviously going to OT

If Calgary wants to hit they better get ready to be hit by a dirty Blues team
