This gdt is quiet...where the hell is everyone!?

Thomas got off a nice shot just before the period ended. The Blues still have 1:18 of The PP to start The 3rd. They'd better win that all-important faceoff, and score on it.

Meanwhile, they've been outplayed during The First 2 periods. The Bruins are winning a goodly percentage of the races to the puck, and are skating hard to double-team The Blue with the puck. They just seem to want this game more than The Blues do. A BIG, BIG play in this game was when 2 Blues wanted to make a solid hit on an opponent in the O Zone, even after they saw that The Bruins were starting back up ice towards The Blues' zone. THAT gave The Bruins a 3 on 1, at first, which only became a 3 on 2, when Parayko finally reached them. But it was too late, and The Bruins scored. THAT mental error gave The Bruins their 2nd goal, and makes it very tough for The Blues to catch up in The 3rd, against a tough defence, a great goalie in Rask, and The NHL's best penalty killing team.

Listening to game on radio tonight.

I've noticed Sanford, Blais and MacEachern have barely played tonight. Is that due to lots of special teams play?

The refs have controlled the momentum with ill-called penalties and ill-non-called penalties and have more or less made, what could have been a fun game to watch, overall boring.

Nothing kills a game like zebras making it a special teams game

Besides the penalties, the Blues looked good. There was a lot of hitting and heart there that I thought had been missing from this season so far.

Don't worry, Boston will get into the playoffs, and when it matters Tuuka will crap the bed.

It would have been perfect if we kept the perfection line off the score sheet tonight, but oh well.

The game in April is going to be the real sequel...the crowd that night...will be sultry.

suite night is going to be tasty.
