The beginning of January I would have thought this game would be for a better chance in the lottery. Instead, the Blues could win the division today. What a wild season it has been. I think what the previous two season's have taught us is that no matter how good it looks, it can always go to shit fast. And now matter how much shit it looks, it can always turn great.

Parayko doubtful. Berube still claiming it's for rest. A blast from the past, Chris Thorburn has been called up from SA. No idea if he plays though.

The Blues could end up playing Preds, Jets, Colorado, or Dallas by the end of the day. Maybe at home, maybe on the road. Crazy.

A loss would really make the day anti-climactic though. That would mean Winnipeg or Nashville and guaranteed third place.

I heard Mike Rupp on the radio saying he always preferred to start the playoffs on the road because there was less pressure to win and put on a show for the home crowd. I think some players feed off the boos of the opposing crowd as mush as they do the cheers of their home crowd.

All things considered, I hope we get as many home games as possible for the ownership group.

I want to see The Blues come out and dominate from the start, and never trail, and put it away early. I also want The Blackhawks to beat Nashville. I also want no injuries to Blues' players. Anything else is gravy.

Really hope we can win this game so the Jets and Preds game provide us with something meaningful to watch.

LIke someone said above, its just crazy that on the last day of the year, the Blues could face 4 different opponents in the 1st round and finish in three different positions.

Win this, and hope Hawks can hold Preds to one point, then I'd be indifferent on if the Jets win or not.

Lot's of upper body and lower body injuries to players this season, but I believe this is the first auto body injury.
