ST. LOUIS - The Blues will begin a stretch of five preseason games in six days with Tuesday's game against the Dallas Stars.

The puck drops from American Airlines Center at 7:30 p.m.

Robby Fabbri will play in his first game since suffering an ACL injury on Feb. 4. The Blues' lineup will also include prospects such as Samuel Blais, Klim Kostin, Robert Thomas, Tage Thompson, Jake Walman and Vince Dunn.

Former Blues Head Coach Ken Hitchcock will be beginning his second stint behind the Stars' bench. Hitchcock previously coached the Stars from 1995-2002.

Play-by-play will be available via KMOX.com and on HD radio on Y98 HD3 in St. Louis. Fans can follow the action at stlouisblues.com, by using the Blues mobile app or by following @StLouisBlues on Twitter.

Stars lines:

Jamie Benn-Tyler Seguin-Alexander Radulov
Mattias Janmark-Jason Spezza-Brett Ritchie
Radek Faksa-Martin Hanzal-Tyler Pitlick
Nick Caamano-Devin Shore-Curtis McKenzie

Marc Methot-John Klingberg
Dan Hamhuis- Greg Pateryn
Esa Lindell-Stephen Johns

Bishop supposed to start, play two periods.

That looks like basically their regular team, so this probably will be a beat down by the Stars.

Hope everyone is ready to see a lot of special teams time in the preseason. The League is cracking down on slashing and faceoff violations in the preseason. In the games last night there were numerous penalties for improper alignment on faceoffs and starting early. There's been no change in the rules, they're just actually enforcing it. Surely this will not be the case in April, but whatever. The slashing focus may stick a bit more, which will help the speed and skill guys. Here's hoping Hitch keeps the stars stuck playing 1995 hockey all year.
...but whatever, the Blues won the Cup!!!!!

You usually play your regulars in the first preseason home game and then your kids in the first road game. Lets see what the Blues lineup looks like tomorrow night at home.

They drafted Miro Heiskanan #3 overall, not sure where he is.
I think he's hurt and decided to skip camp and stay in Finland. I think their last few drafts have been pretty crappy, so there probably aren't a lot of exciting prospects in Dallas. Fine by me.

Will the first pairing or third pairing in this game end up as our third pairing on opening night?
If they offered these games online for $5 a piece, they wouldn't need to bed the city for money to fix their locker room.

Actually just to be accurate, it is the city's locker room. They own it.

I'm ok with both crackdowns, especially the slashing one. No need to let that stuff go. Just be impressed if they actually stick with it .

Leave it to the NHL to slow the game down even more. Bad enough you've got your paying customers yelling: "Drop the *&^%$#@ puck!" at every faceoff. Now they've gotta suffer through a stoppage to get the offender(s) to the box AND to wait for the referee to figure out how to turn his microphone on to make the announcement.
