I don't think The Blues were "playing prevent". They were just hemmed in by a tremendous forechecking effort, first by ALL 5 Bolts skaters, and from 2 minutes left to the end, by a 6 on 5 advantage.

This. The Lightning are for real and are one of the best teams the NHL has seen in the last decade.

That said, the Blues, Preds, and Wild are all undefeated vs the Lightning, so they can be beat, but ONLY if you bring your A+ game and they don't.

As someone said earlier, barring a major injury or two, I don't see any team beating them in a best of seven series.

But I'd love nothing more than for the Blues to prove me wrong

The Lightning are a great team...their ability to move the puck is a workshop on team work and speed. You have to admire the Blues for being able to beat a team this good.

That was an incredibly fun game to watch. 3 months ago I would have bet a whole pay check against the Blues in this game.

We need to smash all the low hanging fruit till the end of the season and get ready for the first round.

I'm curious as to how it will work out when they face a team in the playoffs that doesn't chase the puck, and insteads clogs the middle of the ice in front of the goalie.

Kid deserves rookie of the year. Not kidding. With out his performance were battling LA for last place and Hughes. Thats a win percentage of 80 and percent of possible points won is 84. Nuts is an understatement. Welcome to the National kid.

finally getting caught up, just watched that video. that schenn goal was ridiculous, holy crap. undefeated against the best team in the NHL this year. also, every team that's beaten tampa multiple times this year is from the central - odd stat.
