Agree on the Sobotka sentiment. I was excited somewhat to have him back but he's just not the same player. Really hope we can package him in any deal we might make.

Also Dunn should never be sitting over Gunny/Bouw/Bortuzzo.

It was also heartening last night to see Tarasenko make a couple of great hustle plays to keep pucks in at the blue line, including on Steen's tying goal.

Are we in agreement that Allen, JayBo, and RobbK all need to be riding the bench next game?

I'd be ok with healthy scratches. Allen needs to toughen up the noodle. Robb was useful with hitch while we built some D. JayBo, I'll keep saying it, find a way to LTIR him.

Honestly, yes, I do think that's pretty unreasonable. Shattenkirk was a 40+ point defenseman from his rookie year on, and averaged about 50 points/82 games while with the Blues, with half of those points coming on the PP. There aren't many defensemen out there who can do that consistently for ANY team!

I DO think Dunn will be better defensively, though, and will certainly provide more offense than he is now, but I'd be perfectly happy with 30+ points and more of a presence on the power play!
