Anyone else feel like they are wasting their time with Jeff Gordon hockey chats Friday at stltoday?

When JR did the chats before joining The Athletic, I felt like the quality of the questions were a lot higher, and the answers from JR offered some decent insight.

With Gordon, not so much.

Personally, I like Gordon. When he's honest and doesn't try to avoid the truth by being apologetic/soft with his answers, he's actually the most knowledgeable hockey guy we got in the media here - IMO.

I don't agree with the "quality of questions" were a lot higher with JR because Jeff Gordon posts every question down the line and answers them. He doesn't pick and choose what questions he wants & doesn't dodge. JR always did that and his chat volume was always at best half of what Jeff posts.

I agree with the OP, I am not finding the same quality assessment from Gordo. He tends to hedge too much with his responses. There's just not as much insight.
