Here's more info on Sundqvist. Sounds like he's a big, physical 23 yo forward who can play all three positions and may have a little scoring upside. Probably a decent, versatile, bottom-6 guy.

I love that Kostin is done with the KHL. Wants to try and make the Blues next year and if he doesn't, he's fine going to AHL. I can see him sticking for 9 games.

We got three players tonight, an immediate boost to center, long term Center prospect, and a potential top 6 power forward rw. And another prospect center, bottom six, but possibly a brodz replacement?
Sucks to lose Reaves, but the return is worth it.

243I'd have to say, for starting the night without a pick above #20 overall in what's widely regarded as a 'weak' draft, I think the Blues did VERY well for themselves, both for now AND some assets for the future.

246So happy with Schenn trade. Thomas was a nice center prospect to get for the future, but then to get Kostin with the 31st pick represents the risk taking required to win it all. Ballsy draft that could pay huge dividends for a long time.
Hate to lose Reaves, but you have to take the first there.
