Phew! Glad that one went the Blues way. I was quite happy to see the boys overcome adversity and win.

I think I saw JR mention Elliott likely went through the concussion protocol after the collision, so I would say Allen is likely the man until he shows otherwise.

So now we know they can dial it up, find that 6th gear, and play good hockey against a good team despite adverse circumstances e.g. goalie isn't on, late flight, injuries, etc.

We know they can do it. They know they can do it. Hopefully we see that when it matters, throughout the season and beyond.

It was great to see a whole team effort (after the 1st period). Guys moving their feet. Extra effort to poke the puck away on D. Going to the net and shooting. I hope Hitch plays that game-video throughout the year to remind them what they are capable of as a TEAM.

Definitely took some grit and heart to come back at Chicago. I wasn't quite sure what we had when they lost to LAK two nights ago, then limped into United Center on very short rest. Question answered. Now, I expect the same throughout the season.
