I never minded Nolan but Marchment was as dirty as it got. I think he's been dead long enough to hate him again.

The Blues aren't executing very well on this power play. They're playing like they've never even seen their shiftmates before.

The Blues are not playing with discipline. They're making no-look passes inside their own zone, and every one of them is going to a Shark. They'd better start getting serious about this game. Even a team that has 0 or 1 win can bite you if your whole lineup thinks they'll win just by stepping out on the ice.

The Blues finally started trying to win this game with only about 4 minutes left in The 1st Period. They'd better play even better than that the whole rest of this game, to not waste this chance to gain 2 points against a weak team. 2 points might be the difference between making the playoffs (or not0, or between a much easier or tough match-up in its first seeding.

Wow!!! The Blues are hurting, knuckling under The Sharks' forecheck. Down 4 goals it'll be tough to come back without rustling up some energy and determination to win this game. There is still most of 2 periods to come back. But I haven't seen any energy by The Blues in that direction. Binnington is coming in. A shame he didn't get his rest, as he'll play almost 2 periods.

Great play by Faulk, without his stick, to skate over to the driving Shark and keep him from getting off a shot!

Blues are not nearly good enough to win games by just showing up, regardless of how bad the other team is. They have to give maximum effort every game by every player.
