They aren’t McDavid and Draisatl though. The Blues can’t be a two man team. And Thomas leads the team in points, albeit 4 in 5 games.

Meanwhile Hayes and the Captain have 2 assist between them.

Thomas and Kyrou need to do more but so does the depth of this team.

I agree. Im not blaming the 8's but they are finishers. (I consider 40 goal scorers as finishers as well as thomas' playmaking ability)

I was literally thinking to myself last night that I couldn't remember Hayes having a shot on goal yet. So I looked. He has 3 SOG in 5 games. Not going to score much like that. He looks pretty bad to me. Maybe it is because his number is 12 and Bergy was 21, but I get some real Berglund vibes from him. Big body that doesn't hit. Pretty good 200 ft game but has long stretches where he is completely invisible out there. I know its early with a new team and new system and new linemates, but he looks pretty blah
