A shame that Buchnevich is still out against this high-scoring team. Binner will need to be on his best game tonight. He already made an excellent save after a miscue by Krug.

Great save on that breakaway by Kyrou, but he had enough time and enough open net to have potted one their, too far from the goalie for him to reach.

Nice block by Mikkola! Other than a couple small breakdowns, The Blues have kept up with The Oilers in terms of skating. I'm happy so far.

Excellent 1st Period by The Blues. They played a 1-2-2 and kept McDavid and Dreisitl from getting breakaways. Keep up the good work!

Nice to see that Thomas has seemed to have improved his face-off style. He's at 56% so far this season after only hovering just short of 50%, last season, and being below 50% most of his NHL career, so far.
