Problem with that list is it doesn't tell you why there was no captain listed for 2007-2008. 4530imagine what Vova would have made if he had a coach who used him like Bednar uses MacKinnon.
Re: News and Games around the NHL
4531@BluesSK ... You do realize that Jaromir Jagr hasn't played in the NHL since 2017-18, right?

Re: News and Games around the NHL
4534Forgot that.
FYI everyone the answer is Jumbo Joe "Civil War Veteran" Thornton who is currently unsigned.
The oldest signed player is phantom Blues alumni Craig Anderson at 41.

4538Aint that the truth. My grandma who smoked from the time she was like 15 and ate pretty much just fried food lived well into her 90s. Chris Mason and Jaro Halak will be happy to hear this news.BluesSK wrote: Wed Sep 21, 2022 11:04 amLongevity is a really funny thing. It's fascinating to see who lasts longest. 4539So here's an early breakdown of the 2023 draft.
Blues should be scouting Russia hard. There could be a lot of sleepers coming through there in the next few years and we have had a pretty good deal of success with them.

As for Nolan, he’s out of contract after this season and likely will retire at 24 years old due to concussions

4544Honestly if they're not a contender this year they're screwed for the near future. Father Time is really not on their side, and it might be too late for them already. If Stone isn't back to 100% and Petro isn't a top 5-10 D they're in for a rough year.Dread_Pirate_Westley wrote: Thu Sep 22, 2022 11:01 pmYeah, I think that franchise is in for a rough go of it for a few years. NHL to debut digitally enhanced dasherboards; virtual ads to replace traditional signage on arena rink boards

The NHL is debuting digitally enhanced dasherboards (DED) for all games this season that will "erase and replace" the advertising found on arena rink boards with virtual ads on broadcasts.
The DED system allows for the digital replacement of camera-visible arena dasherboards within local, national and international NHL game broadcasts. While overlaying other advertisements on the boards will be its primary function, the DED system eventually will allow broadcasts to use the boards for everything from in-game stats to special effects for goal celebrations. ...

4549There are local broadcasts? I wouldn’t know.
Haven’t they been using in-camera digital ads for quite some time now?
Can’t wait for them to make all players wear green man suits so they can project advertising on them.
