The Bruins dominated for much of The 2nd Period, but The Blues come through with 2 late goals, and carry a one-goal lead into The 3rd. Great job in a road game against an Eastern Conference Stanley Cup contender. I hope they come out strong in The 3rd, and get an early insurance goal. Nice to see Krug play well in his return game.

Buchnevich should have had that empty-netter. But, never mind. The Blues played a great gutsy game on the road against a tough team! Blues have won 6 in a row under pressure, and keep the pressure on The Wild in the battle for 2nd place in The Central, and 3rd in The Western Conference. And they continue to build up their momentum going into The Playoffs. Great win! The Tarasenko/Thomas/Buchnevich Line continues to impress. So do Leddy, Parayko, Perron, Schenn, Barbashev, Faulk, and just about the whole team stepped up. Nice to see Krug play so well in his first game back.

Not a lot of people remember this, but in 2019, the Blues actually won the Stanley Cup. The team they beat in the Final? The Boston Bruins. The Blues actually won Game 7 IN Boston, in the very same rink they played in tonight.
They've owned them since that afternoon miracle comeback game years back.

I loved that self-satisfied smirk on Vlady's face when Frederick just bounced right off him and started falling towards the ice, as if to say: 'Are you kidding???" he wasn't about to take a swing at him and have The Blues lose out on getting the man advantage for 2 minutes. and somehow he knew that The Blues would score on that one.
